Steel Deck Coating is an Oak Ridge Foam & Coating Systems brand. OR-80SLM, Flak Jacket 1, OR7K, and 7001 Primer come from Oak Ridge's industrial polyurea line — the same elastomer chemistry used on containment, commercial roofing, and equipment wear surfaces, specified here for decks that carry service load.
Traffic-bearing work is specification work. The difference between a deck system that lasts twenty years and one that fails in three is almost never the drum you bought — it is the load class you built for, the prep standard you actually achieved, and how the expansion joints and drains were detailed. So that is what our conversations are about.
We supply engineers and owners directly, and we supply the industrial coating applicators and waterproofing contractors who install this material. If you run a plural-component rig, ask about material, parts, spec support, and submittal packages.

Traffic-bearing deck projects usually come with a specifier, an owner, and a warranty conversation. We will give you what you need for all three: written specification sections, load-class DFT tables, SSPC-referenced prep scopes, aggregate grading by traffic class, and detail guidance for joints, drains, curbs, and penetrations.
Mid-job support is same day. Chloride test came back high on a marine deck? Galvanized deck showing white rust? Not sure how to terminate at an unusual expansion joint assembly? Call and get an actual answer from someone who has done it.
If you are adding polyurea capability, we can help with equipment selection, training, and the first jobs. Deck work is a good place to start because the surfaces are large and the geometry is forgiving compared to detail-heavy roofing.
